Songmont is a Chinese bag and accessory label — leather bags, totes, small goods — selling direct internationally at design-label prices rather than value-import prices.
Returns
Thirty days from delivery. Then the policy splits by region and reason.
US and EU, quality issue — damage, defect, wrong item: they cover return or exchange shipping and re-ship the replacement free.
US and EU, non-quality issue — you do not like it, wrong size, not what you expected: "You may return or exchange the item within 30 days. We cover all return or exchange shipping costs."
That last sentence is the one that makes this policy different. Most stores will take a change-of-mind return and leave you to pay the postage. Some cover it on a fault. Covering freight because a customer changed their mind is a cost almost nobody in this category takes on.
Refunds process five to eight business days after the item is received. Queries get an answer within 24 hours.
Shipping
A long destination list: US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, much of Europe and more. Free standard shipping over $100, $30 below that. Express to some countries at checkout.
And the line most stores leave out: in most cases the displayed price already includes duties and taxes, so you normally do not pay at the door. The policy is careful to add that local customs rules can still generate a charge, which is the honest way to put it.
What to weigh
Removing the return freight changes the purchase. A $300 bag bought sight-unseen carries two risks — it is not what you expected, and sending it back is expensive. This policy kills the second one, and that is worth more than a discount.
Duties inside the price is the other half of the same calculation. A landed price is what you actually pay. After years of people being surprised by a carrier handling fee on the doorstep, a store that folds it in is doing the thing that matters.
The $30 charge under $100 is steep — nearly a third of the threshold — so the free-shipping line is a cliff, not a nudge. Reach it or expect to pay real money for postage.
Who it is for
US and EU buyers spending enough to clear the threshold, where the free-return commitment applies. Not for anyone outside those regions expecting the same terms, and not for small orders that will not reach $100.
