Chicme sells fast fashion direct — tops, dresses, sets, homewear — in the same segment as Shein, and competes on price and turnover. The terms are where these stores differ, so that is where to look.

Returns

Raise it within fifteen days of receiving the item, by contacting customer service or through the site.

The process is written out: log in, account page, Orders, Request Return, pick the items and a reason, submit. Customer service replies within three business days, then sends an address and instructions. You post it, then supply the return receipt with weight and tracking.

Two things follow. The three-day reply is inside your fifteen if you start late — the window does not pause while you wait. And the return goes to an address they specify, not the one on the parcel.

What fifteen days means

It is better than Balabala's seven and worse than the thirty that most apparel stores offer, including the Chinese ones on this site.

For clothing bought sight-unseen from overseas, the window is what turns a bad fit from an annoyance into a write-off. Fifteen days is enough if you try things on the day the parcel lands. It is not enough if it sits in its bag for a week.

The process being written out properly is worth something. A clear sequence beats "contact us" and a shrug. Just start it immediately.

Who pays return freight is not stated on the refund page. That number decides whether returning a $25 top is worth doing at all, and for fast fashion it usually is not. Which is, presumably, the business model working as designed.

How it compares

Fifteen days puts Chicme between Balabala's seven and the thirty that most apparel stores offer. Of the three Chinese apparel stores here, only Baleaf ships from a US warehouse — which is the structural advantage, because it means the parcel lands while your return window is still worth something.

The process matters too. Chicme wants you to request through the account page and waits three business days to reply. Baleaf has no published returns page we could read, so the terms there remain unknown, which is its own reason to check before ordering.

Who it is for

Price-led shoppers who will try things on immediately and accept that a return costs a request, a wait and a trip to the post office inside a tight window. Not for anyone who needs a prepaid label or a generous clock.
